We supported Banco Galicia in the evolution of its digital channels, improving mobile and web experience. We built new native apps and worked on modernizing its online solutions, helping create a more integrated, agile, and consistent omnichannel experience for its clients.

The Challenge
The bank was looking to develop a consistent omnichannel experience across web and mobile. Our challenge was to evolve its home banking into native mobile apps for iOS and Android, improve security standards in critical operations, and define an API adoption strategy aligned with open banking.
The Solution
Mobile Channel Evolution
We developed a new version of the home banking app using native technology for Android and iOS, improving performance, scalability, and user experience. As part of the bank’s omnichannel strategy, we aligned design and architecture decisions to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.
Biometrics for Corporate Banking
We introduced a key business feature: biometric authentication through facial recognition to approve transactions in the corporate banking app. Our team adapted the apps to integrate external biometric components, including liveness detection features such as facial movements and blinking, helping prevent fraud. This had a strong impact on high-value transactions, where security is critical.
Open Banking Strategy
We carried out an architecture assessment to define the bank’s API adoption strategy, enabling the shift to an open banking model. We defined guidelines to expose services to third parties in a secure and scalable way, aligned with new integration opportunities within the fintech ecosystem.
The Outcome
We brought together user experience, native mobile development, technical architecture, and business vision to evolve the bank’s digital channels and strengthen its position in the industry. We delivered a more robust mobile experience aligned with current standards, improved security in critical corporate banking operations, and set the foundations for opening up the business through APIs.
